Kerf Roller Cutter

Kerf roller cutter is a kind of TCI roller cutter widely used in raise boring equipment. The cutter surface has multiple annular grooves (chipways), and the carbides are orderly distributed on the cutter body surface outside the chipways. This roller cutter is the most commonly used raise boring drilling tool.

Kerf Roller Cutter Product Features

1. Adopt premium wear-resistant inserts to minimize the wear of the roller cutter. The optional insert type include Chisel inserts, Conical inserts, Spherical inserts, Ballistic inserts.

2. The optional bearings include tapered roller bearings, ball bearings, and thrust roller bearings.

3. Adopt high-quality metal seals.

4. The roller cutters can be repaired and customized.


Kerf Roller Cutter Application Parameters

1. Applicable rock hardness: protodyakonov scale of hardness 11≤f≤20.

2. Recommended WOB of roller cutter: 100KN~200KN.

3. Maximum WOB (weight on bit): 245KN.

4. Recommended cutterhead rotation speed: 3-15 RPM.

5. Maximum linear velocity: 90m/min.
